Location: Mumbai, India
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Installation and maintenance of RHEL/CENT and various Linux Client OS.
- Maintaining ACL
- Patches installation and up gradation using yum.
- Creating and installing VM in Red Hat KVM
- Managing IPTABLES rules to block useless ports.
- Managing SELinux policy ensure more security.
- Discovering LUN/ISCSI target from Server.
- Configuring multipath for luns/ISCSI targets.
- Configuring CHAP authentication for ISCSI targets.
- Install and Setting up secured open SSH server.
- Writing basic shell scripts to achieve automation tasks.
- Configure and managing VSFTPD, NFS and SMB.
- Assigning Files, Directory permissions using ACL.
- Configuring mail clients using send mail / postfix.
- Configure and manage centralized rsyslog Servers.
- Configuring NIC Bonding/Teaming in RHEL Server.
- User,Quota& file system management.
- Taking Backup and restore using tar.
- Analysing logs for errors and sort out same.
- Configuring cron tab for scheduled backups.
- Co-ordinate with Network team, application team and Development team.
- Handling RHEL6.X/7.X Server, Desktop and Windows Operating Systems.
- Taking daily, weekly and periodic data backup
- Supporting clients remotely with the help of remote support tools such as Net meeting, VNC, Amy Admin, Remote Desktop, Any desk.
- Troubleshooting hardware and OS issues, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7,8& 10
- Installation and troubleshooting of Apache, Tomcat, SVN, NTP, Mongo DB.
- Monitoring all servers using tools like Munin, Nagios,Zabix, Ngix.
- Monitoring load average of CPU and Memory.
- Bash scripting, scheduling jobs or taking backup using crontab.
- User creation and password issues of various users.
- Installation of printers.
- Solving LAN and network related issues.
