Product Manager (4-8 yrs)

Position:                   Product Manager (4 – 8 years)

Location:                   Pune, India

Position Summary:

Working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment you will apply your proven product management skills diligently towards the development of best in class products and solutions with service-oriented architecture. You will work with cross-functional teams to design, build and roll-out products that deliver the company’s vision and strategy.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Define the product strategy and roadmap
• Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth
• Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners
• Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes
• Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact
• Work closely with engineering teams to deliver with quick time-to-market and optimal resources
• Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding
• Represent the company by visiting customers to solicit feedback on company products and services
• Write functional specs.

 Qualifications:

• Proven product management experience for a minimum of 2 years.
• Bachelor degree in Management M.B.A or Engineering is preferred.
• Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle
• Proven ability to develop product and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management
• Solid understanding of software development and web technologies
• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job
• Skilled at working effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Motivated self-starter with a high attention to detail
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-based environment
• Experience in agile and SCRUM methodologies.
• Experience in developing applications for transportation and logistics industry a plus.
